Kill the One Big Beautiful Bad Bill, the awful budget bill moving through Congress that Republicans hope to pass on a majority vote only, bypassing a Democratic filibuster. They have to write it according to strict rules that will satisfy the Senate Parliamentarian, but they plan to re-write it however they have to in order to make that happen

What’s bad about the bill

Bankrupting America is NOT an option! The BILL will be especially severe in rural areas and small towns. Senate Republicans are getting ready to vote on their BILL, which is so awful they want to get it passed before Americans know what’s in it. Just as a sample, the bill will:

• Increase the federal deficit by $2.8 trillion

• Slash your hard-earned Social Security benefits 

• Cut $800 billion from Medicaid & SNAP (formerly known as food stamps)

• Cut $500 billion in Medicare

• Sell off public lands

• Kill most clean energy tax credits

• Cut student loans

• Give a huge amount of money to ICE

• And leave some additional 10.9 million more people without health insurance

• All so rich people and big corporations can have more tax cuts
